Story
The gentleman on the label is the winemaker’s great-grandfather carrying empty casks back into the vineyard in Vienna’s 19th district. I went to kindergarten down the road; my mother lives five minutes away; and my father rests in the church shown on the label. SEPP is a nod to the easy hospitality of Vienna’s Heuriger taverns—bright, unpretentious wine in the original 1-liter sharing format.
Zweigelt — Austria’s native red — gets the light touch for this bright, dry rosé. It’s made for the Heuriger tavern style: poured generously, shared casually, and always with food on the table. The label keeps the SEPP tradition alive — a nod to family roots, Viennese wine culture, and liter-sized hospitality.
